Willey Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 20 Saturday, May 6th, 2130 The streak has been snapped. Patrick Willey failed to get a hit in today's game against the Faisalabad Hawks, bringing his 20-game hitting spree to an end. The 26-year-old Shanghai center fielder was 0-for-4, but the Emperors got the win and defeated the Hawks 4-0. "I'm not disappointed at all -- I had a great run," Willey said. "I got to 20 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers. What's there to complain about?" Willey is currently hitting at a .286 pace with no home runs and 9 RBIs. |
