Jaguars Are Champs of Americas Baseball League Latin American Division

While it seemed a foregone conclusion for quite some time, today it became official: the Belo Horizonte Jaguars are champions of the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division.
The club has been rolling well ahead of the pack with a 80-40 record and have now officially qualified for the postseason.
"It's a good feeling to know you can't be caught," said starting pitcher Yong-zhan Chien. "Now we can focus on getting ourselves ready to win a AAA World Series."
The club's division title was their 25th and they will be attempting to win the franchise's 15th title. According to the team's manager, "I think we've got as good a chance as any team in WBA Triple A."
