Yi-ke Wang Captures IBL-AAA Award

The hottest bat of the week belonged to Bergen right fielder Yi-ke Wang.
He went on a rampage last week against IBL-AAA hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 23 at-bats for a .391 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week trophy.
Wang was honored today at a press conference.
At the moment, Wang is batting .449 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 12 games and scored 10 times.
