ABL-AAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Wright Monday, August 23rd, 2106 At the age of 26, Travis Wright might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Bayamón left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .440 batting average. For his efforts Wright collected the ABL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. For the season Wright is currently batting .308 with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs. In 25 games he has reached base at a .402 rate and scored 15 runs to date. |
