Sapporo Skunks Bremen, 9-0 Saturday, September 13th , 2132 Hal Maggs spun his magic in a 9-0 shutout victory at Bremen Grounds today, leading the Sapporo Shogun to victory, 9-0 over the Bremen Foxes. The Sapporo pitcher put quite a spell on Bremen in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," Maggs said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." So far this year Maggs has delivered no saves. In no relief appearances he has 199 strikeouts in 185.1 innings with a 2.91 ERA and 10 wins and 9 losses. |
