2120 Best Player Picked By ABL-AAA
Monday, September 23rd, 2120
At the age of 26, Jesús Carrasco of the Duluth Dragons could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2120 was good enough to win the first baseman the ABL Triple A Position Player of the Year Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .361 batting average this year, as well as a .457 on-base percentage. He played 133 games and racked up 171 hits, 47 doubles, 5 triples, 23 home runs, 86 RBIs and 91 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ken Morgan of the Santiago Caballeros finished second in voting, while Jean Lambert of the Recife Jaguars finished third.
