Adelaide's Martin Top IBL-AAA Batter in May Sunday, June 1st , 2149 Snap, crackle and pop! In May, Bill Martin snapped up the Intercontinental Baseball League Batter of the Month trophy by cracking 33 hits and popping 7 home runs. For the month he hit a solid .314 with 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored. The Adelaide left fielder also picked up 14 walks to compile a .403 on-base percentage. Martin has collected 61 hits for the Asteroids this year, 14 of them home runs. He has also netted 41 RBIs and scored 44 runs while batting .311. |
