Playoffs? No Chance for Sapporo Friday, August 25th , 2147 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Sapporo Shogun still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Sapporo last appeared in the postseason in 2134. This is their 13th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 18 - year history. Sapporo has won the AAA World Series 2 times in their history. |
