Centurions Rodríguez August's Top Hurler Saturday, September 1st , 2136 The Intercontinental Baseball League announced today that Manuel Rodríguez has been chosen the league's Pitcher of the Month. The Florence starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 4-0 record. In August Rodríguez chalked up a 1.87 ERA in 33.2 innings with 27 strikeouts and 8 walks. This season Rodríguez has a 9-4 mark in 25 starts with a 3.46 ERA. He has given up 120 hits in 145.2 innings, struck out 141 and issued 50 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .225 batting average against him. |
