Shanghai Takes Divisional Series Saturday, September 16th , 2147 The Shanghai Emperors are one step closer to the AAA World Series. The club prevailed 4-0 at Glasgow Ballpark tonight to eliminate the Marseille Fleur-de-Lis and advance to the League Championship Series. The Emperors won the series by a 3-1 margin, with first baseman and series MVP MartÃn Meloncelli leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," Meloncelli said. "This was a team effort, not just me." The Shanghai Emperors don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Faisalabad Hawks - Florence Centurions series. Florence leads the series 2 games to 1.
