Faisalabad Takes Divisional Series in Deciding Game Sunday, September 17th , 2147 Depending on your loyalties, the Divisional Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking. The series went down to its final game, with the Faisalabad Hawks and the Florence Centurions giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Hawks came out on top, winning 3-2 at Centurions Ballpark today to take the series 3-2. "We're lucky to be going into the League Championship Series," said Faisalabad pitcher Gadiel Zafar. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason." Zafar earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .353 average, with 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 3 runs scored. The Faisalabad Hawks will play against the Shanghai Emperors in the next round. Shanghai won their series against the Marseille Fleur-de-Lis 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes. |
