League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Faisalabad Prevails Saturday, September 23rd , 2147 Glasgow Ballpark was the buzzing center of the baseball universe tonight, hosting the deciding game of the League Championship Series. The Faisalabad Hawks and Shanghai Emperors had battled tooth and nail to arrive at the final game and in the end it was the Hawks prevailing 2-1 to move on to the AAA World Series. "There's no feeling quite like winning a series in the final game," said an excited Pablo Arganoza, who was named series MVP. "This was two great teams and it turned out to be a great series. It's good for the fans." For the series, Arganoza had a 0.00 ERA over 11.1 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record. The Faisalabad Hawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Belo Horizonte Jaguars - Curitiba Toucans series. Curitiba leads the series 2 games to 1. The AAA World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes. |
