Rabbetts Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, May 16th , 2150 Owen Rabbetts of the Trondheim Scholars extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 13-11 triumph over the Toulouse Fleur-de-Lis at Lightning Ballpark. "Owen has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Scholars manager joked after the game. Owen Rabbetts doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Fiorenzo Dati in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. For the season, Rabbetts is batting .283 with 43 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 14 times and batted in 27. |
