IBL-AA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 3rd , 2150 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Carlos Chávez for his great week at the plate. The Gwangju center fielder took home the trophy by banging out 11 hits in 25 at-bats for a .440 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 6 times. So far this year, Chávez is batting .255 with 18 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
