Guerra Picked Best Player Monday, August 24th , 2150 Americas Baseball League pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Eduardo Guerra, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .391 for the week to win the ABL-AA Player of the Week Award. The Pinar Del Rio third baseman cracked 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, drove in 6 runs and scored 4 times. Thus far this year, Guerra has hit .259 with 14 home runs and 64 RBIs. |
