Even with the loss, Gonzáles was pure misery for the Gwangju pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Gonzáles, who is the 28-year old shortstop . José Gonzáles tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 11th.
