Puerto Plata Blanks Mounties, Cooper at His Best Sunday, May 7th, 2119 Sean Cooper of the Puerto Plata Taimascaros really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 9-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Vancouver Mounties with a 8-hit shutout in which he struck out 5 and gave up no walks. Cooper has posted a 3-2 record for the year with a 3.74 ERA. Teams are hitting .274 against him and he has rung up 33 strikeouts in 45.2 innings. |
