ABL-AA Player of the Week Named Monday, May 19th , 2149 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Belem center fielder Luis Morales. He went on a rampage last week against ABL-AA hurlers and rapped out 10 hits in 22 at-bats for a .455 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 7 runs and scoring 5 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. Morales was honored today at a press conference. To date this year, Morales is batting .237 with 7 home runs. |
