ABL-AA Player of the Week Named Monday, April 29th , 2137 25-year-old Kanakarasa Muthukaruppan made a few Carolina headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Americas Baseball League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .538 average. Muthukaruppan collected no home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far this year, Muthukaruppan is batting .538 with no home runs and 6 RBIs. |
