Sisi Stops Trondheim Cold, 5-0 Sunday, June 27th , 2151 Amawal Sisi of the Milan Marauders was on fire against the Trondheim Scholars at Marauders Stadium. He shut them out, 5-0, on 4 hits, collecting 15 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Sisi said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." Thus far this season, Sisi has posted a 6-8 record, started 15 games, struck out 98 batters in 105 innings and compiled a 3.17 ERA. |
