Gwangju Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, August 18th , 2149 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Gwangju Monks still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Gwangju last appeared in the postseason in 2147. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 38 times in their 49-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Monks have only made the playoffs once. |
