Baker of Geneva ABL-AA Batter of the Month Saturday, July 1st , 2147 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Rickey Baker has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Geneva Lakers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the Americas Baseball League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .343 average with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 runs scored. To date Baker has chalked up a .278 average with 13 home runs, driven in 49 runs and scored 48 times. |
