Best Hurler Award Presented by ABL-AA Saturday, September 27th, 2104 The Pitcher of the Year Award for 2104 has been presented and the ABL Double A winner is Brent O'Monahan of Rochester. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said O'Monahan. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Empires star told reporters. O'Monahan excelled with an impressive 11-1 record in 14 starts. In 89 innings he yielded 62 hits and 12 walks, while striking out 84 and compiling a fine 1.72 ERA. Barnabé Callado of the Belem Jaguars finished second in voting, while Miguel Rivera of the Puerto Plata Taimascaros finished third. |
