The Taimascaros were officially eliminated from playoff contention and will shift their focus to next season. "There are probably worse days in the history of the Puerto Plata Taimascaros, but right now this feels bad," said. Before this season, the Taimascaros last missed the playoffs in 2145. In the 48 years they have been a WBA Double A franchise, they have made the playoffs 24 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Taimascaros have only missed the playoffs once. Puerto Plata has won the AA World Series 7 times in their history. |
