Venice Southpaw Tosses 3-0 Shutout Tuesday, May 12th , 2150 Dhuninatha Shukla had an impressive outing at Foxes Ballpark, hurling the Venice Legionnaires to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Bielefeld Foxes. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Bielefeld skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the left-handed Shukla yielded 4 hits and tallied 9 strikeouts with no walks. This season, Shukla has worked 54 innings with 51 strikeouts en route to a 4-2 record and a 2.17 ERA. |
