Noon Whips Lille, 9-0 Wednesday, July 1st , 2144 Mostafa Noon of the Venice Legionnaires put on a dazzling performance at Field of the Legionnaires today. He shut out the Lille Fleur-de-Lis 9-0 on a well-pitched 4-hitter, ringing up 11 strikeouts and issuing no walks. "I felt strong out there all day," Noon said later. This season Noon has been credited with no saves. In no relief appearances and 126.1 innings he has a 13-0 won-lost mark, a 1.14 ERA and 168 strikeouts. |
