Martínez Sticks It to IBL-AAA Pitchers Monday, July 13th , 2150 The premier performer in the Intercontinental Baseball League this week was Javier Martínez of the Bergen Castles. The hot-hitting 25-year-old center fielder put up a .478 average and .520 on-base percentage, piling up 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the IBL-AAA Player of the Week honors. Thus far in 2150, Martínez is hitting .292 with 5 home runs, 29 RBIs, 42 runs scored and has compiled a .372 OBP. |
